Furthermore, recent evidence from CashEssentials confirms that 18–27-year-olds pay with cash at a similar rate to the average and also store it at home more often. Overall, the outlook points to a future of hybrid payments, where physical money coexists with digital money as a tool for autonomy and inclusion.
